Ask FASE NUEVE ↗The PRIME TX-1600 delivers 1600 W continuous with 80 PLUS Titanium certification, the highest level: 94 % efficiency at 50 % load. What does not turn into heat stays in your build and in your bill.

All 1600 W come out of +12 V with 133.3 A: no splitting the load between rails and no working out which connector hangs off which.
Voltage stays almost flat when the load changes suddenly. That is the figure Seasonic publishes for this series.
105 °C Japanese electrolytic capacitors and a 100,000-hour MTBF at 25 °C. That is why the warranty runs for twelve years.
This version swaps the 135 mm fan of the regular model for the 120 mm Noctua NF-A12x25, with a redesigned grill. Seasonic measures 8 to 10 dB(A) less across the whole speed range.

The digital hybrid control keeps the fan still at low load and starts it only when the temperature asks for it.
Noctua reference fan, with an SSO2 bearing and a declared 150,000-hour service life, fitted at the factory.
Noctua colours, on the individually sleeved cables too. You either love it or you hide it: that part is up to you.
It meets ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1, the standards current graphics cards ask for. It ships two native 700 mm 12V-2x6 cables, with no adapters in between.

Two 700 mm 12+4 pin cables come straight out of the unit. Enough for a high-end card and headroom for the next one.
ATX 3.1 defines how a unit must handle the brief spikes of modern cards. This one meets the standard; the manufacturer does not publish a peak figure, so we do not invent one.
Besides the 12V-2x6 there are six 750 mm PCIe 8/6 pin cables for cards and accessories of the previous format.
A 1600 W unit is not a whim: it is what you buy when the build asks for current all at once and cannot shut down in the middle of a job.
High-end graphics card, unlocked processor, liquid cooling and ten fans: the unit works far from its limit, where it is more efficient and quieter.
Rendering, compiling, multi-layer editing and drives spinning at the same time. Twelve years of warranty for a machine that never turns off.
Training or serving models locally keeps the card at full load for hours: sustained load, exactly what the Titanium certification measures.
How much power you need depends on your parts. The "Build your PC" tool adds up the draw of the components you pick.
Fully modular: every cable goes in only if it is needed. These are the lengths Seasonic publishes, so you know whether they reach inside your case.
| Motherboard | 1 x 24/20 pin · 610 mm |
|---|---|
| Processor | 3 x 8/4 pin (EPS) · 700 mm |
| 12V-2x6 | 2 x 12+4 pin · 700 mm |
| PCIe | 6 x 8/6 pin · 750 mm |
| SATA | 4 cables · 950 mm · includes 3.3 V SATA |
| Molex | 3 connectors |

The unit is long because there are 1600 W and a 120 mm fan inside. Before buying it, check the power supply room in your case.

The CORSAIR AIR 5400 in this catalogue takes units up to 200 mm: this one is 210 mm and does not fit. We tell you before you buy them together.
On top of the 210 mm you have to add the cable bundle that leaves the back. Leave a few more centimetres of slack.
Seasonic states 1600 W between 115 and 240 V, and 1300 W on the 100 to 240 V range. That comes from the official sheet, not from an estimate of ours.

It depends on the build. A power supply only delivers what the system asks for: 1600 W leaves headroom for a high-end graphics card with power spikes and for several drives and fans, and keeps the unit far from its limit, where it is more efficient and quieter.
Yes, two native 700 mm 12V-2x6 (12+4 pin) cables. It meets ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1.
It swaps the 135 mm fan of the regular model for Noctua NF-A12x25 120 mm fan and a redesigned grill. According to Seasonic it runs 8 to 10 dB(A) quieter across the whole speed range.
No. The digital hybrid control keeps it off at low load (fanless mode) and starts it when needed.
It is 210 mm long (150 x 86 mm section). Check that your case accepts an ATX unit of that length; the automatic check is below.
